KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Wanita will hold a series of tours covering six zones in Sabah.
It is expected to be launched by Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who is also the GRS Chairman, at the SICC Kota Kinabalu on July 23.
Its head, Datuk Seri Azizah Mohd Dun, said some 500 participants are expected to attend the event.
“Among them are Zone One (Tuaran, Kota Belud, Kota Marudu, Kudat), Zone Two (Sepanggar, Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, Putatan), Zone Three (Papar, Kimanis, Beaufort, Sipitang), Zone Four (Ranau, Keningau, Tenom, Pensiangan), Zone Five (Beluran, Kinabatangan, Libaran, Batu Sapi, Sandakan) and Zone Six (Lahad Datu, Semporna, Tawau, Kalabakan),” she said.
“It will begin at the State-level which followed by the other zones,” she said when chairing the GRS Wanita meeting, recently.
Also present were GRS Deputy Chairman Datuk Flovia Ng (Star), Datin Malianah Ugau (PBS), Norizah Mohammad Noor (SAPP), Puan Sri Diana Diego (Usno), Glenna Wong Kuen Yin (LDP), Norizian Dumit (PHRS), Assistant Secretary of GRS, Salmah Sait and a committee member.
She also welcomed the recent participation of Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (PHRS) and LDP in GRS.“GRS Wanita fully supports the leadership of Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor as GRS Chairman and Sabah Chief Minister because of his commitment to the State in ensuring equal development for all Sabahans regardless of race, religion or background.”
