PENAMPANG: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (PGRS) Women Chief Datuk Redonah Bahanda is confident Sabahans will continue to support Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) in the next State Election.

She said female voters, especially in Moyog, nowadays have no problem to continue staying with GRS and support all the policies that it is implementing.

“We are confident with the experience we have, we are able to attract the voters to stay with us under GRS’ leadership.

“Our leader, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor established a party based on the struggle of Sabah, allowing us to fight for our rights more easily here,” she said during the GRS Women’s Movement tour series in Moyog, here.

Also present were Moyog PGRS Women Leader Viola Dompok, Assistant Secretary Floriska Francis, Assistant Treasurer Betty Jamit and Information Head Brinda Aaron.

However, Redonah said there are still many issues that the State Government needs to address such as basic road facilities and clean water supply.

“There are still many areas in the villages that have these problems. We have to solve it so that the people can feel changes are being made,” she stressed.

She also urged branch and voting district center heads to update voter information data in their respective polling areas.

Redonah, who is also Political Secretary to the Chief Minister said that the next State Election will be the fiercest battleground for all.

“Each of us has the greatest responsibility in ensuring victory for GRS. Therefore, every Wanita branch needs to start moving now to increase membership because this is the heart of our victory in the next election,” she said.

Meanwhile, Redonah visited fire victims in Kg Timpoluon, Babagon, here, which involved six houses and eight families.

“When disaster strikes our people in Sabah, we always take immediate steps to help resolve it as quickly and best as we can. We want all development and welfare efforts to be centred on Sabahans, a priority in the Governance work of our leaders,” she said.
