KOTA KINABALU: Newly appointed Sabah Credit Corporation (SCC) Chairman, Datuk Rusdin Riman, paid a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister II and Sabah Minister of Finance, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Masidi Manjun, at his office here today.
The visit marked Rusdin’s first official engagement with the State’s finance leadership following his recent appointment and served to strengthen strategic cooperation between the Sabah State Government and SCC in advancing inclusive economic development.
During the meeting, Masidi congratulated Rusdin on his appointment and expressed confidence in his leadership, noting that SCC plays a vital role in supporting the State’s economic growth and development priorities.

The Minister was briefed on SCC’s current performance, future direction and ongoing initiatives aimed at expanding economic participation and creating sustainable opportunities across Sabah.
Masidi also commended SCC’s continued contribution to stimulating the State’s economy and underscored the importance of strong governance, accountability and prudent financial management to ensure that all initiatives deliver tangible benefits to the people. Also present at the meeting were Assistant Minister of Finance II, Datuk Ishak Ayub; Ministry of Finance Permanent Secretary, Datuk Mohd Sofian Alfian Nair; and SCC Chief Executive Officer, Datuk George Taitim Tulas.
