Kota Kinabalu: The State Government will cooperate with their federal counterpart in the implementation of development projects, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

He was confident that development programmes under the Federal Rural and Regional Development Ministry for Sabah will be more well managed.

“Sabah is one of the largest states in Malaysia that is in dire need of assistance from the Federal Government in developing basic infrastructure facilities and utilities such as water supply, electricity, rural roads, communication coverage and others,” he said at the ministry’s coordination meeting with the Sabah Government, here, Wednesday.

The meeting was co-chaired by Hajiji and Deputy Prime Minister-cum-Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
